Can anybody tell me where the gas regulator is fitted on a Warwick XL and how easy would it be to change it.

It's likely to be right next to the underslung tank. I would expect it to be easily visible if you crawl underneath, but I don't know your van so can't be sure.

Ours is a 2014 so assume its the same. Its underneath near the tank under the angled cover.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

It has to be under the grey cover, as Flaggy said. Follow the gas pipe from the tank and there's nowhere else it can be.

I contacted truma technical help who gave me a few things to try out. Turns out that the cause was some liquid LPG had spilled into the hose feeding in to the regulator. Once that was cleared all was back to normal.

For future info my regulator is not under the grey cover, it is fitted further outboard to the underneath of the van. I checked the type and it is not crash safe, these weren't fitted until later. This means that the gas needs to be shut off. I contacted Autosleepers and they told me it was ok to switch off the gas at the taps under the seat, better than lying under the van on a wet and muddy day.
