belated Hello

Hello all, thought it was about time i introduced myself after being a member for a couple of months and feeling my way aroind.
ive been a motorhomer for 8 years, with two Swift Bolero (hence the name) and latterly two Carthagos.
the Swifts gave me 5 years of 'experience' with Sargent, Truma, Thetford kit, whereas the last two vans have used CBE, Truma, Dometic appliances.
our vans have all been kitted out with solar panels, inverters, sat systems, twin leisure batteries and refillable gas, so am comfortable disussing the above..
we tour the UK and Europe extensively, usually spending around 25 weeks a year 'in the van, so much experience in real time usage.
Lucky to have retired 11 years ago (at a tender age) after a long career in IT, ending up providing thr IT services for a very large well known brand, including managing a number of third party provision companies.
im finding the forum 'interesting' (im a member of one or two others) and hope to be able to help members with non specific AS issues..
look forward to giving assistance where i can..
