Re: Battery voltage readings
Thanks for suggestions. I live in Scotland and I am in Norfolk. Due to go to a Marquis dealer on Monday to sort other warranty issues next week on way back home!!! I don’t know how to start a new thread which is why I piggy backed!

To start a new topic from the home page click on the section which suits your purpose best and at the top of the page you will see a box with new topic.
Have a go in the

section so you can tell members a little bit about yourself
Welcome to the forum from Somerset
I would still contact the breakdown to get you to Marquis telling them you have a flat battery

Re: Battery voltage readings
Thank you. I found a way to post a new topic I think, but not sure if in relevant topic. Did not see place at top of screen - I’m using a mobile.
Will use your helpful link to introduce myself :)

Paul
I would recommend getting a battery optimiser and getting both batteries upto speed:

You new van has most likely been sat doing nothing for a few months, the batteries will need a little love and attention. From bitter experience, I would recommend this for any van purchase, new or old.

Re: Battery voltage readings
I like that David - is it accurate? The ultra cheap faglighter one I have can be way out, Plus the fact that I can't use it at the same time as my solar trickle charger as that uses the laglighter socket too.Heanorboy wrote:
And as I am a belt and braces sort of guy I have also mounted one of these

Re: Battery voltage readings
My Chinese voltmeter that uses the cigar lighter socket is not accurate. However the lower readings than the direct battery readings is useful as i am in the warm and dry.
