Lumo Ellipse Nuevo ES light.
Some of the internal lights on my Nuevo have discoloured and I wish to replace them however, I have not been able to source a supplier. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Doesn't look as if the full lamp description appeared on my post. The full description is - "Lumolighting, Ellipse 12v dc 2x8W Chrome switched". I can find suppliers of white, brass, gunmetal or silversand coloured lights but not Chrome. Any help sourcing will be much appreciated.

I can't help with a supplier, but we have the same lamp - in chrome finish - and it has discoloured and some of the chrome finish has worn off in places - so it makes me wonder whether they no longer sell that finish because it's not durable?
I converted ours to LED, which makes it a bit brighter, but the problem with our Ellipse is that the cover is a bit too opaque - perhaps it has darkened with time. But I wasn't going to pay £30 for a new one to find out!
BTW - beware the fact that you seem to be able to get these in both 1 x 8W and 2 x 8W varieties. I suspect that for most applications, 1 x 8W will be too dim...

AS list them on their clearence sale pdf http://www.auto-sleepers.com/media/2014/12/Auto-Sleeper-Parts-Enquiry-Clearance-Sale-May-2016.pdf , item ET1044, but might be gone.
Lumo still have them listed http://lumo.eu.com/wp-content/uploads/2000-Series.pdf but may have phased them out, hence your looking for old stock. You could try the telephone number shown in the pdf.

You could try putting "Lumo ellipse" into Google?

Indeed - or you could put "Lumo Ellipse Chrome" into your favourite search engine - and it will find plenty in white, and satin chrome and silversand - plus loads of links to download Google Chrome!
The only place that seems to show the chrome version (other than the 19 month old A/S clearance list) is The Caravan Shop, but I don't believe their listing...

I confess I didn't check, but several hits were advertising the chrome version.
As ever, the advert header can be misleading.
I would suggest phoning direct to Messrs Lumo UK to see if they can help. I got some old stock lamps from them a while ago, and they were not over priced.

Lumo Ellipse Nuevo ES light.
Thanks for all the tips and suggestions. I've tried just about everything including search engine, direct contact with Lumo who were helpful but do not deal with the general public therefore, tried all of their listed approved Suppliers without luck 'though still waiting a response from one of their Suppliers who in turn does not deal with the general public.
It would appear that although Lumo still manufacture the Chrome version it is not available at any of their listed suppliers ........I have just found it on Caravan Shop.co, as referenced by "mojo", however Plan B is now to spray the discoloured unit with chrome paint and see how that turns out.
Thanks again for the help.

I suppose you have thought of caravan and/or motorhome builders? Could be worth ringing round a few since it appears that Lumo supply only direct to them. (Otherwise, how do they ever sell any!!).

Jackson leisure have them in satin silver complete with (9v-15v)LEDs for £33 not bad considering that led tubes are £10 each!

The OP wants them in chrome though, and they seem to be unobtainable!raymondo wrote:Jackson leisure have them in satin silver complete with (9v-15v)LEDs for £33 not bad considering that led tubes are £10 each!
