Nuevo Fluorescent Light
Autosleeper at Willersley - Service Dept and Parts Dept - have been unable to help me regarding the failed inverter in one of the fluorescent strip lights in my 09 Reg Nuevo ES.
Has anyone had a similar problem with their strip light? if so, how did you sort it? Where did you get a replacement inverter?

Re: Nuevo Fluorescent Light
Do you know the make and model of striplight used?
Unfortunately these days it is very rare for manufacturers to stock spare parts at that level. Most just assume that the whole unit will simply be thrown away and a new one fitted. I also know from personal experience that many fluorescent fittings are not designed in a way that permits internal parts to be replaced.

Re: Nuevo Fluorescent Light
Take the strip lights out and buy a self adhesive strip of 12v LEDs and wire to the connections that currently feed the pcb (remove faulty pcd 1st !)
If the light is in a main area 2 or 3 will be ok (cut to fit light fitting linked) If its a background area then 1 or 2 should be ok
There maybe pictures I have posted on here of the conversion I did on our van if not do a search of Murphs posts on the subject
This will give you a more efficient light

Re: Nuevo Fluorescent Light
Think he means the strip lights which are at the back of the wall cupboards and act as mood lighting. I find them very good but have no idea how to remove them but think they are attached with Velcro.

Re: Nuevo Fluorescent Light
Oh OK my mistake, but some useful contacts for lighting. Just for reference as you can see its sometimes cheaper to go to a dealer rather than buy on ebay. Jim
