We have ours, fitted by AS, on the bulkhead behind the passenger, facing into the hab area. Its quite a small Avtex TV but, in 3 years and many miles, some quite rough, it has never given us any concern by falling off or getting in the way. We use it on 12V so all the wiring and aerial connections are directly above it, under the overhead locker.

I did make a cloth cover for it as the screen scratched when one of us knocked the remote out of the locker above.

Ours came with one of these:
TV position Tv_bra10
This was fitted on the wall adjacent to the Microwave, I bought another one and fitted it on the wall behind the passenger seat.
Morning/day watching on microwave wall, evening watching on passenger wall, usually in bed.
As I bought S/H don't know if this an AS fitting!

Thank you, we are hoping ours will fit on the side of the microwave cabinet as that’s where the aerial point and power is, we ordered the EKTBLP model

I was contemplating locating our in the same area. It concerned me that the board on the side of the microwave might not retain the fixing screws. My plan was to use a metal plate on the other side of the board and use nuts and bolts to fix the bracket. The management was not impressed by that so our TV is free standing   shrugg

Our EKTBLP came with aerial sockets adjacent to the Microwave, by the bulkhead behind the passenger seat and in the cupboard above the passenger bulkhead, 2012 model.

Depends if you will watch sitting in the swivelled cab seats or feet up on the long benches.

If you intend to use the bench seats then there is not much to lean against at the cab end of the van.

Might be an idea to wait a bit until you find where you habitually sit.

I tend to use the swivelled seats in a morning with the coffee table up, in the evening I switch the TV to the passenger bulkhead, I can stretch out on the seats and Karen can watch it whilst cooking

I will take a photo tomorrow and show you where ours is now positioned. We only had it fitted a week ago after being free to put it anywhere!! After an awful lot of should we don't we..we did!
We have a Winchcombe and it is now fitted onto the cupboard above the electrics...not in the cupboard which I think a smaller to would be...so far it looks good and will work very well for us..photo to follow

Tell the gaffer it works a treat.

That's exactly how I fitted ours. Easy enough to get the microwave out, and only takes three days to find the screw holes in the base when you put it back!!  Whistle1

Having heard of microwaves coming loose I took the opportunity to replace the existing screws with slightly thicker, deep cut thread self tappers. It's a permanent fixture now!  up!

Thanks Dave  up! I may well revisit the plan before we get back on the road in the new year. It seemed to me the logical solution, having discounted non-invasive options (like a clamp). Having said that, my gut feeling is we will still be veiwing a free standing telly for the foreseeable   snigger
