Tables in van convs - best use?
Looking round the forum last night I found a v. good suggestion about using the small table as a base for the larger and using the table outside. Haven't tried it yet, but will. Does it work? The tables do get in the way a bit inside. I'd wondered if there was any other way of making a base for the pole which could be used to provide an outside table. (And so have both an inside and an outside table.) Has anyone else solved that?
Cheers and thanks in advance Weatherwax.

Hi Weatherwax
You could use one of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
We use it inside and outside and use two different length chrome tubes depending what we're using it for

Using table outside
We've got the same arrangement. The shorter leg is very rare but we found one at O'Leary's.

Thank you
Thank you. Excellent. That's exactly the concept I had. (If not perhaps the price!) Will now follow up purchasing or making. Cheers WWx

Yes the small table does work but you will spoil it the suggested Fiamma leg is better.
Paul(Mold) dont know how far afield from Mold you shop but Camperlands at Northenden,Manchester are a Fiamma importer and stuff we have had from them tends to be a lower price than some of the other dealers

I never mentioned price (that was Stevomar). I got a copy tripod leg off ebay for £15 compared with the Fiamma one of around £30.

Re: Tables in van convs - best use?
Thanks Roli, Paul and Steveo
Yes I can see it's not the best use of the small table and our trial today put a mat underneath - but for now, it is a neat way to sit outside with one's cup of tea/ glass of wine etc. Manchester is not too far from us - so again more investigation on the cards. Will also check out ebay etc. Paul.
Now trying to store bedding in v. large, handled bags rather than in overhead, so that it is portable (back: travelling; front: stopped) until needed, releasing that useful locker space.
Picked up the .pdf sheets about cleaning water tanks which are v. useful. What a helpful, handy forum! Let's hope we have something to offer as well, soon. Merci to all, WW.
