How odd. Maybe the owners were not at home. It's taxed until February and mot'd till January 2018. They will be lucky if the interior hasn't been trashed.

Although unlikely, but the registration number in the text doesn't match the picture, which I hope isn't the reason the van hasn't been reunited with its owner.

Must admit i never noticed that yesterday when i searched it on DVLA!! Obviously a 'typo'. I went off the number plate which was clear enough to read.

It probably is just a typo, but I was thinking along the lines of the person who found it, reporting the wrong registration number to the police over the phone. It wouldn't show up as a stolen vehicle and therefore might not get an immediate visit from them, if at all.
