Help wanted. Fiamma box for Nuevo

I'm thinking of buying a Fiamma Box for the back of my Nuevo. I have a bike rack which isn't used. Anyone any idea what size is best. Are the soft ones any good. I was hoping to put the levellers, hook up wire and silver screens. Maybe chairs. What made me think one would be great is at this time of the year when you come to pack up, the hook up is wet maybe the silver screens and levellers. Much easier to put in plastic bags and put them in the box. All suggestions gratefully received.

Oh!!! And has anyone a second hand one they want to sell. 

I've had a Fiamma 320,then a 500 on my last van,a 09 Nuevo ,size depends on what you what to carry in it.
I have the 500 box on my current van and there's tons on volume to fill.
Waste master, 3 folding chairs, folding washing dryier, fresh water cans, camping pegs, silver screens, etc etc.

Did you find the 320 a bit small.

I have a 320 on the Warwick due to location of cycle rack but would certainly go for the wider one if we had a coachbuilt

The 320 is not as wide as the 500, not sure if Fiamma still make the 360 back box, its as wide, but not as deep as the 500. we carried a lot of extra stuff as we are normally on the road for 7/9 weeks at a time.

When I inquired  Rose some time ago about he Fiamma box and the soft one, was told the latter  was not  very strong and soon ripped  with chairs etc in also not very secure. think the plastic box would be better myself. 

Didn`t go down that route though. 

Good luck with it, have you looked on eBay ,? sometimes there are on there, also some dealers may have a second hand one if they have taken it off a part ex. van.

When looking on eBay, search for 'carryall' box as well. They are Omnistor (Thule) version.

Been looking on eBay. Unless l see a real bargain will leave it till spring then get serious. I will go for a 360 l think.

Looked on eBay Rose , a few Fiamma boxes and bags on there. they never go cheap as they are expensive in the first place.

How bothered are you by its appearance?

I saw what I thought was a cracking idea last time we were at the Knaresborough site. A chap there had bought a huge plastic storage box something like THIS ONE but he said his cost only about £40.

It was about the same size as the smaller Fiamma box, very sturdy and secured with 2 padlocks.
Could be worth considering this route - the Fiamma boxes are excellent, but at a price!!

Spring is when the prices go up, as the demand for them increases before the touring season starts, I purchased my 500 box during the low season, fortunately it was local to me and a good price.
I checked daily on Ebay to find one.

So excited. I've just deleted a post. Went back to edit and found my dustbin and deleted.
Less of that. Anyway thanks Gromit. Looks interesting but would need to see before l bought. I keep looking on eBay but needs to be near me. Hopefully one will turn up.
