Removal of back light cover

Can anyone tell me how to remove back light cover on a Topaz.

Can't remember precisely the arrangement on our early VWT4 Topaz.  The offside was definitely accessed by removing the wardrobe floor. Alternatively, very limited access through a removable circular plastic cap in the floor. 
For the nearside, seem to recall going through the small cupboard below the flip up/down wash basin.  A Haynes manual for the T4 would be informative.
The VWT5 has two screws on the outside, inboard edge of the plastic lens/cover.  Very simple and quick.

Thank you for you reply.  The reason I am asking is I am about to fit reversing censors.  So I am tryiñg to pick up the reversing lights cable.
