If you introduce yourself to the forum at the link above, the information about yourself and your experience with motorhomes will help forum members to assist you.
From your question I guess you have an MES electrical system installed. The Truma ultraheat can work on either gas or 230v electric, neither go through the MES control system. There will be a 230v switch unit, possibly under the floor of the wardrobe and one of the switches on it will be for the ultraheat.

You will get the fuse error if the switches in the wardrobe are not switched on. Alternatively you have a fuse failure which I believe is within the Truma heater and potentially a pain to replace.

The Truma Ultraheat will not switch on unless the ambient temperature is below the required temperature set on the thermostatic regulator switch. Keith

Hi Billinda, welcome to the forum.
As Peter said, we do like new members to introduce themselves.
Since the light on the isolator switch in the back of the wardrobe comes on - we can assume that the power supply is OK thus far.
The next thing to check is the little green light in the control knob - does that also come on?
If so, when you turn the thermostat slowly up and down, do you see the light suddenly go lighter or darker as you pass the switching temperature?

Nuevo heater on electric
Hi
We had a 2015 Nuevo and had similar problem. There was a switch in wardrobe labelled “ hot water heater”
It must be switched on for hot air , took a while for me to find that.

Re: starting truma ultra heat on electric Nuevo
Just to confirm, the op mentioned the trims ultrastore which is a hot water heater and storage tank. There is no space heating function on this unit and on 230v operation, no control of temperature

Can't see any mention of a Truma Ultrastore in the OP's post?

Re: starting truma ultra heat on electric Nuevo
Sorry, moved to using phone and brain moved from ultra heat to ultra store. Please ignore ref to ultrastore. Master 230v switch for ultra heat is with the one for water heater. The heater will work 500 1000 or 2000w depending on truma control setting
Fan controlled by switch and dial on top of fire. But need 12v to operate.

Re: starting truma ultra heat on electric Nuevo
In that case there is either a problem with wiring to the ultraheat switch or the switch itself is faulty.

Re: starting truma ultra heat on electric Nuevo
If it is MES you should have something like shown below. As well as checking circuit breakers and switches, check plug not loose in bottom of unit and follow wiring for heater as there will be an 'in line' connector. Make sure you disconnect hookup before messing with connectors!!!
Sorry a bit out of focus, another forum member kindly sent me the pics.

Re: starting truma ultra heat on electric Nuevo
Billindas Nuevo is same year as mine . I have consumer unit in wardrobe with two domestic style switches adjacent, one marked water heater the other for heater. Above all this is a black box which is the reverse side of the MES control panel and may also contain the reverse side of the Truma switches. Removing this black cover may reveal similar connections to the photos but don't remove this cover without disconnecting the electric hook-up.

Thats what you get with the Sargent installation...consistency? The units are switched fuse spurs and have a 10A fuse in a little compartment that can be opened by pulling up with a screwdriver. If wired correctly, the red lamp on the unit should not light if the fuse is blown/missing.
The electronic unit that controls which elements heat is behind the fire and usually only accessible by removing the fire and that entails disconnecting gas and flue (the flue has a special seal which must be replaced every time it is broken).

So where are the mains fuses for the Truma units on my set up other than the consumer unit ones?
