Looking to purchase Peugeot Boxer Warwick
BUT WHAT SHOULD I PAY ?
Like look and spec of Boxer Warwick, think would suit me. Friend selling one and have told him am interested.
Problem is, no clear idea of what I should pay - vary so much on line when look at selling sites. Doesn't seem to be any consistency.
The van is 08 plate with 25000 miles on it. I believe everything in working order.
But van hasn't moved for nearly a year now /stood on drive. It also has been almost lived in for this period. So probably far from immaculate inside and outside needs god clean.
Battery flat at moment (does this charge from EHU ?).
Looking for some guidance on what to offer, as they are not using it at all now, and what things I should look out for that are problematic or prone to have problems with please ?
Thanks

A 2008 will be a Warwick not a Warwick Duo which command higher prices. If it was at a dealers it would be priced at around £29995. To sell at that they would have paid around £25/26 k. So consider somewhere around that bearing in mind any tidying up it may need after being lived in.

Cheers foe response. I imagine will need major service if stood for a year.
Seem to vary from 20k - 30k online sellers, which is big gap.
Don't know enough about them to be sure (up sizing from small vw campervan).
Any known problems with them ?

Re: Looking to purchase Peugeot Boxer Warwick
Can't recall ever seeing one below £27k and I look every day as we're are after a Duo. I'd be wary of anything in the low 20's.
No real problems with Warwicks but from what I've seen at dealers, check sealing around toilet/shower tray and general damage if it's been lived in and not really cared for. We looked at a high mileage Duo once and the cupboard doors were hanging off and a lot of damage to the overcab storage roof where the table had been in and out and not carefully put back.
If it hasn't moved, the tyre walls could be cracking, so bear in mind another £500 for a set of tyres.

Cheers for that. I take it the duo is the later model and better spec ?
Pretty sure he replaced all the tyres last mot ?
Do you know on the Warwick whether you can charge main battery from ehu ? His is flat at mo and be concerned this may affect alarm / immobiliser !

I'm sure that ehu will charge both batteries but you may have to select which you want (I'm not familiar with that control panel). The Duo has two long rear benches that can be used as single beds, the standard Warwick can only make a double across the van. To do that, the Duo has a suspended wardrobe with the bench going under it and on the other side the kitchen is reduced.Jon Wiggans wrote:Cheers for that. Ah right. I will need find out more. Sadly neighbour recently passed away, so widow (who knew I live my campervans - got a tidy vw retro t3) asked if I would be interested. Coincidently we been thinking up sizing.
No idea at present if duo or standard, but will find out when time right.
At this stage just trying find out bit more about the vans, what spec they have and what value.
Looks ideal size etc for us to upscale to !
Just been to a motorhome dealer to get some ideas as to what you get for money (very different world to vw scene).
