Zhender satellite box

I have a Zhender satellite system in my Devon Motorhome and on several UK TV channels I have a voice over which tells me what is happening on screen, ie "John comes into the room" This is driving me mad!!!. Can anyone give me step by step instructions as to how to remove this irritating problem using the remote control. I have asked the maker but have had no reply to my messages and the instruction manual is of no use.    Thanks.

That'll be "Audio Description".

Look for a button marked as such on your remote control, though it's more likely to just be labelled "AD".  Press that, and it should toggle the facility off.

Which model is it?  I've found the instructions for the DX66 and that function isn't mentioned.  The function is called Audio Description (AD) and I expect there will be a button with that label on your remote.

Thanks Peter. I have the DX66 also but no such button on the remote. There is an audio button which lets one know about the audio channels but will not let you delete them.

Just a thought (I don't have this system myself), but I believe the "Audio" button allows you to step through any language options which may be broadcast on the channel.  I don't suppose one of those options has Audio Description and another option is without?

Otherwise I suspect there could be an option within the menu system to disable it.  Under <Menu> <System Settings> <Language> <First Audio>, what are the choices?  Perhaps there is "English" with or without AD.
I see in the manual (downloaded, so could be out of date) that there is a <Second Audio> menu item.  Could the second audio refer to the AD?  Try playing with the options.
