Corinium Reversing Camera
Hello, has anyone found out how to make the reversing camera stay on permanently, in the hand book it says that you can achieve this by using the remote control but I cant get this to work apart from when reverse is engaged. I have also read that you can activate this feature by engaging reverse whilst engine is running then switching of engine selecting neutral, then when you restart engine the built in memory remembers that it was on last time and it will remain on , but that doesn't happen either. Any help very much appreciated.
Thanks

On my Veba, pressing the remote power button, with engine on, sometimes more than once, turns on the camera for forward travel. I have tried the switch off engine whilst in reverse dodge, but it doesn't work for me.

Re: Corinium Reversing Camera
You sometimes have to make several attempts making sure the remote is aimed at what seems to be an exact point (left or right) and close up to the mirror. If it has worked before the battery may need replacing but maybe not given the age of your van. Regards

Re: Corinium Reversing Camera
If its the same as the one in our Warwick, its a right pain. Although it would seem possible reading the instruction book there seems to be features that dont function and all that is possible is
auto on when reverse gear selected
and manual on with remote any other time after the ignition is switch on.
All going to change when warranty has finished to wired on permanently when ignition is on

Thanks for that StewPotch, as this probably applies to most the X290s and possibly some X250s I have copied your post into a Factsheet so the info doesnt get lost amongst the many.

Roger, can you add this to the factsheet please. It wasn't obvious (to me) what vehicle it was for.roli wrote:Thanks for that StewPotch, as this probably applies to most the X290s and possibly some X250s I have copied your post into a Factsheet so the info doesnt get lost amongst the many.

X290 and X250 are designations for Fiat and Peugeot base vehicles.

Cant remember the dates of change to X250 and then X290 but if your van is a 2016/17 Terry it will be an X290

X290 then.
You can quickly tell the difference by the headlights - the "slitty eyed" ones (if you would pardon the expression ) are X290 but the larger curved ones are X250. I believe there are interior differences as well.

Not sure if you have the same model of reversing camera as us but, with the engine running, a press of the red button on the remote with it pointing at the monitor works for us.I
