2017 Kingham Kitchen Sink Drain Empty 2017 Kingham Kitchen Sink Drain

We are away for our first proper holiday in Nerys the 2017 Kingham, most things are now sorted although there are few bits for the dealer to fix when we get back.

There appears to be a problem with the Kitchen Sink Drain, which does not live up to its name, that is it doesn't drain quickly.

The front of the van is slightly lower than the front.

Any tips that might help ?

I have the same problem and I'm guessing there is either an airlock or the exit pipe asks the water to go uphill. It always empties after I move off.

Today I filled the fresh water and emptied the cassette, tomorrow I plan to drain the the grey water into the new carrier and take it down to the DP.

The cassette took me by surprise as it was so heavy, it has only been used by me for no 1s at night.  Anyway luckily it has wheels, I rembered to depress the air release valve.  I won't leave it so long in future.

My kitchen sink has been slow to empty on a few occasions and seems to be air locked.
I've cupped my hand over the plug hole and quickly pushed down, a bit like you would with one of those old fashioned plungers and that has been enough to start it draining at a quicker rate.

That's the method I use when draining is slow or not at all. Watch out you do not separate the push in pipes though! mine are now firmly glued in place.

Same problem with our Warwick Duo kitchen sink, from new.  I now travel with a small sink plunger which does the trick.  It also doubles as a washing posser, which saves wear and tear on my arthritic thumb joints.
So, every cloud eh!!

I was hoping this problem might have been caused by being parked and not being level, however, the last two nights we have been on much flatter pitches and if still doesn't drain.

The cupped hand technique hasn't worked so a plunger is next and added to the dealers snagging list.
