The Younger Generation. Oh Dear!!!!

Just been served by a delightful girl at the ice cream counter. Obviously a schoolgirl in a Saturday job, but she couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful. Proper restores your faith, it does.

Then I noticed he name tag. Her name is Michaela . . . . . but it was spelled "McKyla".

If that's her given name, what were her parents thinking?? She will spend the rest of her life correcting people and spelling it out. Take it from one who also has to do that (surname) it becomes a right pain in the buttock!

On the other hand perhaps she's only trying to be different, just like all her mates!!
