T4 wing mirrors
I have to fold both the mirrors on my T4 to get into my drive and every time I do it they creak and groan is if they're going to snap off. I've tried WD40 with no joy.
Do others experience this noise when folding and if so, any thoughts on making it easier?
Thanks
Chris

Your are not alone. They all creak and groan, I think the noises are more from the spring flexing that any dry joints. Yes, I'm sure mine will break off one day considering the pressure it takes to pull them back.

Re: T4 wing mirrors
In fact I did break one off on my previous T4 is why I'm looking for a solution. It worries me that I'll be leaving for a trip with a ferry booking etc and as I prepare to tackle my driveway, I'll bust one of the mirrors. I really wouldn't want to drive around Europe without a mirror!
