Dividing curtain in a Kingham
Hi,
Have any of you put a dividing curtain in your Kingham. It would be nice to have a curtain to provide some privacy after getting out of the shower etc. I saw a photo on the Marquis site of a Kingham for sale with one fitted.
I'm 2 months into my ownership of the van and apart from the water pump being reluctant to stop and the fresh water level gauge having a mind of its own I love it!

Loving mine too and although I can see the appeal of a curtain, as well as it being quicker to close, I wouldn't want one in my van.
If I'm showering, or getting changed during daylight, I just close the windscreen blinds and let the dark privacy glass do the rest. That wouldn't be as effective with the interior lights on, during darkness, but it's no hardship pulling all the blinds up.

My understanding is that the standard is for a curtain but the "option" winter pack (that Marquis appear to fit as standard) replaces the curtain with a blind. Ours has both. I cant quite remember where the track is fixed but the curtains are secured to the B pillar.

I don't know for sure Dave, but imagined that after the OP described it as a 'dividing curtain', he was referring to something that would divide the bedroom area from the rest of the van, rather than a window or cab curtain.
I wasn't aware that the 'winter pack' replaced a curtain, so I could be a mile off the mark with my comment !

Found this image of a used Kingham on Marquis' website, which I'm assuming is the one the OP is referring to, or something similar.
As I said earlier, I can see why it would appeal at a practical level, but I'll be sticking with closing my blinds.
**Edit** The one from Marquis also has the front concertina type windscreen and side window blinds fitted.

I should have said mine is a Nuevo.
Our bed is up against the front seats so that is what I imagined. I would find a curtain THERE in the way.

If l want a bit of privacy for a moment then l leave the wardrobe door open and/or a spare towel draped loosely over the front seats or even hang said towel from the shelf above the cab.
