Ceiling joints
Quick question: Have Autosleeper cured the very poor ceiling joints on the 2017 models, I enquired before ordering mine and was told that it's been sorted!
Can anyone who's picked up a new model confirm that they have stopped using the stupid tape that comes unstuck?

I've got that "stupid tape that comes unstuck" on my 2015 model. What's suitable to stick its edges back again?

Re: Ceiling joints
The joint tape you highlight is prominent on the walls, one of which above the fixed bed resembles a curled up sandwich (edging unstuck both sides). The joints across the ceiling are much more substantial, covered by what looks like strips of white pvc approx 20mm width x 2mm thickness, altogether a much more pleasing aspect and I thought all ceiling joints were this design? Regards.

Hi Cymro used to fix previous van with this problem using a hairdryer to heat the glue on the tape and an edge of an old credit card to smooth down the tape flush again . Only took a few moments . Yes it will lift again but got a few months out of each 'repair' Local dealer showed me as this is what they do having seen vans arrive from factory with tape hanging like bunting inside!Cymro wrote:I've got that "stupid tape that comes unstuck" on my 2015 model. Re: Ceiling joints
apparently Autosleeper have improved the roof seams, or at least I have been assured that they have!!
The walls I suspect will remain using that tape, however, I've yet to see an example of the "improved" system so I just wondered if anyone else has seen how it's changed??
