Mercedes Security
Hi all being my first post be easy with me if posted in wrong place.
We collect our Mercedes Berkshire motorhome next week, and as we live on a busy road it will be viewed by every low life in the area when passing by.
Doing much research have bought two Milenco wheel clamps and a Stoplock pro steering wheel clamp, what i would like to know is how secure are the Mercedes cab do i need to beef up locks or just the habitation door as this seems to be the easy entrance than a cab door.
Thanks in advanceĀ

Re: Mercedes Security
I think you'll find that almost everything has deadlocks on the cab doors these days - certainly I would expect that of Mercedes.
I would not go to the expense of trying to "upgrade" the locks, because if they want to get in they will use a spring loaded punch to break one of the windows and just climb in. It ~should~ have a cab alarm to cover this anyway (but obviously check this) so I would not spend anything further on cab door locks.

Re: Mercedes Security
The standard MB chassis is not alarmed just immobilised with anti lift sensor. Get a Thatcham upgrade alarm if not already fitted. Autowatch 695LC is good with integrated operation to existing MB key fob, ultrasonic internal sensors.

Re: Mercedes Security
Mine has an alarm on the cab doors and bonnet as standard MB fit.
