VW T4 AS Trooper Water Tank Size
I am currently cleaning out my water tank as best I can on my AS Trooper (92 Plate) and was advised that a Milton tablet with water in the tank sloshing around while driving for 30 minutes would be a good idea.
However the instructions with the tablet state 1 tablet per 5ltrs, now I am afraid I am using a hose and filling the tank that way so have no real idea of how much I am putting in and mu gauge does not state the tank size, I have Googled as much as I can but with no luck, so does anyone know the size of the tank in ltrs?
Also am i cleaning it the best way, can anyone offer any other suggestions.
Many thanks

Re: VW T4 AS Trooper Water Tank Size
We use elsan fresh water tank clean.
Am sure Miltons tablets will do the job.
No idea what the size of your tank is but you do need to know the size to use the right dose.
If no one else can help with that I suggest you fill the tank and then drain it and measure the amount coming out with a known size bucket?

Re: VW T4 AS Trooper Water Tank Size
I don't think dosage for that type of product is very critical.
I can't recall offhand what the tank capacity is on our Trooper (the owner's manual is elsewhere) and ours is a T5 based one anyway, but you probably won't go far wrong assuming that it's 60 litres. If you feel that it's important then, as already said, fill it and measure how much comes out before it's empty. If you do that you'll know its size for sure, for future reference.
