Thanks for the info. Living 100yds from Lidle I will keep an eye out the offers. I fancy the weather thingy for the van.

We visited our local Lidl today and found they are selling Silicon (and oil & graphite) spray for £1.99. Must have missed this in last weeks leaflet.

Strange one, can't find it mentioned in their leaflet but they had a box with about half a dozen of each going but it was parked away from where they do the new offers.

I got the weather thingy from Lidle. At £2.99 it seems ok. It is a neat little unit so will sit on the shelf in our van nicely. As advertised inside/outside temp and a clock. There is a frost warning built in. Just as a try and see I have dropped the outside sensor through the nearest side window, the wire is very thin. A better location will need a little more thinking about. think_smiley_46

As intended, bought two carpets approx 180x65 cm that joined together for full run along floor. Essentially bathroom mats, all purpose, water-stain-repellent,can be cut to size. Spongy type foam material at £4.99 each.
