Re: Glue not sticking
We have the same problem: new Winchcombe in Dec 15, tape started lifting in May/June in France. Now most of them are curling up at the edges.
Van is booked in for 1st hab service with A/S end of November, and we have mentioned that tapes are lifting, were told they will "sort it". OH thinks they need replacing, as the glue will now have particles of dust etc etc stuck to it. Because the tape is curled and has been in that position for a long time, it will not be possible to stick it down again. Also, we don't want the brown glue marks, as reported in an earlier post.

Re: Glue not sticking
Auto Sleepers replaced all our taped joints within a few weeks of buying our van in 2014, now out of warranty and they are all lifting again.TravelKat wrote:We have the same problem: new Winchcombe in Dec 15, tape started lifting in May/June in France. Now most of them are curling up at the edges.

Well, perhaps we should take some copydex with us when we go and ask them to use that!artheytrate wrote:Auto Sleepers replaced all our taped joints within a few weeks of buying our van in 2014, now out of warranty and they are all lifting again.TravelKat wrote:We have the same problem: new Winchcombe in Dec 15, tape started lifting in May/June in France.
