Loose window cassette screw
In the attached pic you can see that the lower left fixing screw to the window cassette has come out!
This is essentially the only issue I have had with my new Broadway since I recieved it in June from Derby motor plus.
It's a difficult fix I think because the screw cannot be reinserted or screwed in!
It appears that the inner material has all but given up the ghost! Has anyone seen this before?

It will be going in for a warranty repair, I'm sure Motor plus will provide a good solution.

OR push enough matchsticks in to fill the hole then put the screw back in. If that is your only problem you have been very lucky or it shows how good these vans are!!

Re: Loose window cassette screw
yes it has been good :) i have a couple of other small issues ( seam tape on the roof peeling) and an unglued edge strip but i don't consider these major build issues.
The pre delivery was good as was the handover...in fact the handover was excellent, Motor plus are very good and i expect to deal with them again in due course.
as an aside; i have just returned from the Lincoln motor home show and i saw nothing in the other manufacturers models that made me regret my purchase.

You would have been slung off the forum if you had!!Libraryman2 wrote:as an aside; i have just returned from the Lincoln motor home show and i saw nothing in the other manufacturers models that made me regret my purchase.

A couple of years ago we whiled away a wet and miserable afternoon in Ostend at one of the biggest motorhome dealers we have ever seen. There were acres of vans from every manufacturer you could imagine.
We came away with exactly the same feeling as you.
