Hi, the screw on the foot of my Bourton has detached, and no amount of fiddling will attach it……. What an I doing wrong?…. It doesn’t seen to be bent.

Re: Bourton bed screw
Thanks Paul……been peering up there with a head torch…..I will order a couple of spares…..is the rectangular corrugated part supposed to attach to the rect washer bit…..will I have to wiggle the disappeared part out of the leg before I insert a new one?….. seems I have taken up ‘Meccano’!

Re: Bourton bed screw
Just get a large blade screwdriver and ram the broken bit up the leg. When you put new one in,a good tip is to put a washer larger than the leg with the nut screwed up to hold it in place. Then if you drop it to the floor again the washer will take the impact instead of the corrugated insert.
