Driveway Electric Hookup & Charging
This probably sounds like a silly question......
Our driveway has a fair slope, and I was therefore wondering if this in anyway could effect the charging of the vehicle / leisure batteries when on hook up? It only really occurred to me last night that the slope could cause the electrolyte level not to fully cover some the plates and this could possibly result in damage when charging I have left it charging overnight on the driveway on around three occasions since getting our Nuevo, and therefore just hoping this hasn't created any adverse effects
Think I will pop outside now and just take a look to ensure the fluid covers the plates as it's parked

Hi CC,
Never thought of that. Our drive has a moderate slope but I have not had a problem in the past 6 years. I would have thought it would have to be a pretty steep slope to uncover the plates.

Thanks Orian, hope your new Symbol is going well for you BTW
Was just lying in bed last night and suddenly I just thought about this (as you do)
As you say, I would think the fluid would cover the plates even on an incline, but not really sure so will have to check this out to be certain.
The daylight has gone now so will check this sometime tomorrow
