Boxer Van Conversions
Warwick Duo Window Fabric Liner.
Over the past month the window reveal fabric has peeled back - presumably due to the warm weather.
Has anyone else suffered this and how was it resolved - tin of glue!
My van is a 2015 model.

Re: Boxer Van Conversions
I'd say "dealer" rather than "tin of glue" - depending on how bad it is.
If it's just a little bit lifted I'd do it myself, but if it looks like a faulty application over a wider area your dealer should fix it for you. Apart from any other consideration, if he has done it and it subsequently continues to lift, you can take it back again for further remediation.
Be careful which glue you use. Some of them can creep through the fabric and show as a nasty stain after a while, and you are stuck with a permanent blemish then!! (Cringeworthy pun intended! )

Re: Boxer Van Conversions
Thank you Dave - trouble is the dealer I bought it from is over 100 miles away a good 3hrs drive!
Wondered if anyone has found a moulded plastic insert for the reveals to remedy this type of occurance.
PS There would be more glue on me than the windows!!

Re: Boxer Van Conversions
I had a similar problem with a small area in my Kingham. It was a couple of inches only so I preferred to do it myself rather than the dealer. I carefully peeled the fabric back and applied a small amount of wood glue to the fabric then pressed it back on the wood support. Held it in place whilst the glue dried. There was no leaking and that was 2 years ago and it is still in place and showing no signs of coming adrift again.Motorwaycafe wrote:Warwick Duo Window Fabric Liner.
