Alarm sounding Empty Alarm sounding

Hello new to motor homes drained water from fresh water and gray
Waste today. Turned off 12v panel a little while later alarm went off
On panel and top green light came on . Tried pressing buttons nothing
Happened ,only way it does not sound is to leave 12v panel on is this right
Any ideas please.
