Mercedes Fixed Price servicing

Hi Everyone
         My Merc needs a full service type B and there is a couple of recalls on it,via the Mercedes web site a service is quoted at  £230 inc vat ,oil,oil filter ,air filter and even fuel filter.MOT £50 has anyone tried this service is it what it says I queried the prices and they confirmed it was correct.

It will be as quoted unless it is due for brake fluid change, coolant change or dust filet change, which are extra. Looking at the MB site it tells me £250 for Sprinter service.

That's very good Alan as Peugeot wanted £440 for first service with our 2014 Broadway, so I had it done at independent garage £116 but they didn't change air filter.
I bought genuine filter off ebay £12, so service worked out at £128.

Sounds right to me, if your van is suitable why not think about having the crosswind assist software upgrade too, costs about £120 but that has to be worth doing!

I have just done a service deal with Northside Trucks for both 1A and 1B services (no calendar limitation) for £379 plus VAT. Includes all service labour and service lubricants. Presume service filters but will wait and see but not out of phase extra's like brake fluid etc.   Also get a discount on parts.

Jaytee, that's the current standard pricing according to MB website, but by the time you need them price will have risen, so probably a good deal.

Click on Servicing Flexibility. Not all MB Dealer do this National Price. One near me wants £290 for A service and £400 for B service plus VAT.

Our recent first full 30,000 mile Boxer service with Peugeot was £299. More than John's service, but we were happy with the experience.

         Just got the MH serviced and the good news Service B cost me £226.93 inc VAT (Oil Filter <Fuel Filter <Air Filter and oil included) MOT cost £50 Only bad bit got caught for a new set of wiper blades £51.12.So Iam am now ready for the open road
