New owner of 1999 Duetto says "Hello"
Hello everybody (or should that read anybody?),
A couple of weeks ago bought an A-S Duetto (1999 Transit 2.5 TD) as my (our) introduction to motor homes.
Been campers and wild campers for years - thought we should try doing it in a little more comfort.
Can't wait to get out and about in it although I am a little worried that we might not like it.
Only time will tell.

A 1999 Duetto was our introduction to this world (we hadn't camped or caravanned before) and we've never looked back. The Duetto is a brilliant motorhome.

Re: New owner of 1999 Duetto says "Hello"
Hi from the top right corner of Lincolnshire, the land of the fish.
A Duetto appears to be a good choice of starter vans including us. We progressed from all types of camping then made the leap into the strange world of motorhomes. A guy I worked with said we are too old for sleeping on the floor sober. He recommended a Duetto from owning one himself.
Ours was older than yours and we did have rust issues but it was to be expected at twenty years old. We only swapped to a coach build as part of a retirement plan and some thing we could use more in the winter.
Happy motoring,

Welcome from the we(s)t coast of Scotland.
Regrets we've had a few but buying a motorhome was not one of them!
