Montana
My Montana was laid up for winter inside & undercover. It was serviced, filters oil fan belt brakes etc. the fridge now has a new burner, jet and thermo couple and lights first time and stays lit at any angle...so far:allthumbz: 4 new hankook tyres and a set of Mercedes alloy wheels fitted. Rear window blind fitted (it had been removed along with the blackout paint) all put back. 3 dents removed by dentmaster. New gas struts for roof bed. 19" TV/ DVD unit fitted. Sink tap freed off and now works fine. Refillable light weight gas bottle installed. Heater serviced. New rear wiper. Polished and waxed. Windows freed off, (some were seized shut). Gear leaver refitted.(fell off) 300watt PSW inverter fitted. So a lot done but a lot to do when I get back in May or June. Anybody know how many diesel pop top Montana models were made?

I don't think A/S have ever published their production figures, but they must be pretty rare - they are quite distinctive (because only one other A/S model has that style of roof - and that's a rare model too) but I can't recall ever seeing one.
As a matter of interest, why did the previous owner remove the rear blind and blackout paint?

Rear blind
Not sure if he even removed the blind it was more a case of it falling off but he still had it and as there was nothing wrong with it or the mounting board it was refitted. I bought the van from "Greenways" who wrote a piece about it on this forum.-mojo- wrote:biffobear wrote:Anybody know how many diesel pop top Montana models were made?
