Re: Tyre Recommendations
Hi there,
Continental Vanco 2 lasted 44,000 miles. They were on offer at the time I bought them (buy three get one free) so it was a no-brainer that turned out to be a very good choice.
Currently running on Firestones because they too had a deal on when I changed the Continental tyres.
Here's a useful site for you to check what is available for your van ...

... even if you end up buying and fitting them elsewhere.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,

Re: Tyre Recommendations
Hankook on the front, continental Vanco on the rear, Hankook are wearing down quicker than anticipated, will replace with Vanco .

tires
Hello there.
Just before christmas I had to buy a new set of tires and I asked about the M/S type, I was told by a co-worker that the problem with the M/S type is after driving in summer the ashfelt is warm and the rubber used in the tires is of a softer mix thus loosing a few millimeters in the summer. This has a slight effect in "polishing" the surface of tread and causes sliding on corners and hard to get traction when going up slippery hills and slopes. I have used M/S on my van and I have been stuck many times but for how much snow england gets and how often I would NOT use summer tires anytime. Better to be safe than sorry. safe driving
