Wind baffle
Hello,
I am quite new to campers and have a trooper ( love it ! ). I have seen on ebay an inflateable wind baffle that fits between the tyres to stop the wind. I see kyham do one for about £60, which I don't want to pay. The one I saw was only £19.99. It doesn't have to be totally wind tight , the main aim is to stop the dogs escaping! Does anyone know where I can buy one?
Thanks in advance.
Lucy

Re: Wind baffle
Hello and from Leicestershire,
Sorry cannot help in your quest.
I have my dog on a long leash attached to the towing eye, when parked up on a site, so she has freedom to go in and out the van, lay underneath or whatever , and I know she is safe and cannot wander off.
On site rules, dogs must be on leads.

Hi there,
Windblockers provide a system to prevent wind coming under the van and into the awning area.
Studs are stuck to the van and the length of material is fitted with matching clips and elasticated loops for tent-pegs to be driven in to the ground to keep it anchored.
Check out ....

.... it works very well, especially with the full screens.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,

Re: Wind baffle
Thanks guys. We have 4 dogs, one of which gets TOTALLY freaked out by being tied up. It is mainly for the night so we can sleep with the drive away awning attatched and the van door open. I can then put some beds in the awning and not worry that they are either cold ( they are whippets) or have spotted bunnies and have escaped!!
I came up with an idea that might work, I thought about buying a wind break with wooden poles and cutting it down to size so it is low where the door opens and high at the wheels. This would also help ( once we have it sorted the first time) for lining the van up correctly for the drive away awning to fit correctly as we can use the windbreak as a guide!
