Under slung gas tank

Will we ever get to use our motorhome!  We'd like to have an LPG gas company have a look at our under slung gas tank. We live 30miles north of Aberystwyth in Wales, pleeease could anyone recommend a company to look at our tank and advise whether it needs anything doing with it, which I think it might?

Many here have them, including me, & I fitted it myself so know a little about them & will help if I can.

Hello modelman, it's more about the condition of the tank, rust etc and the fact that the exhaust seems to be quite close to it with no heat guard.  One of my brothers who has just converted his own mh suggested we should have it looked at. They came up for the weekend from South Wales and I know if they lived closer he would have helped us to repair or change it

GasIt are just south of Caernarvon, so not too far for a run out, they originally supplied gear to AS and are a helpfull outfit

What a nice man at gasit, but they only supply not fit, nearest to us is gas sure Chester. Dave's gonna take a closer look at the tank, apparently any decent garage mechanic should be able to do the job

Just had the tank repainted on our 4 year old Warwick Duo because it was rusting.  When I had the had the van Waxoyled I assumed that the tank would be painted to a good standard so it was left in red paint.  This is apparently just a single coat of red which falls off.  The tank is now dereusted and painted with red oxide, red paint and finally clear Waxoyle.
The 450 cm rubber hose was cracking up and has been replaced with a 750 cm steel braided hose.  This was done by the friendly local garage which is an MOT station so they have to pass an LPG training course apparently.

Why not go to the manufacturer? Gasit make the underslung tanks which AutoSleeper (now) use. It is just outside Caernarfon. A nice day trip, by appointment. Speal to Dylan - preferably in Welsh - and he'll sort you out!
