Lastly the radio display is very dim is that usual any help or suggestions would be most grateful

Re: New Autosleeper Surrey
What does the bracket look like. Normally AS vans have tooth mug (round bracket), toilet roll holder and a soap dish holder of some description, possibly with a Fiammi liquid soap dispenser.
The hab door should lock either on the cab remote central locking, or using the same key as for the outside lockers/toilet cassette door. On mine the door sometimes doesn't lock with the central locking but opening and then slamming usually makes it work. The door contacts are the problem.
Is the fob for remote control of the Sargent control panel?

With a remote it will be MES,not Sargent. It controls main lights.
