introduction
hello everyone, thanks for having me.i'm an old git( according to my wife and daughter) who is new to autosleepers, being too old to muster enthusiasm at the prospect of returning to a soggy tent, devoid of body heat and spending nights on deflated lilos, waiting for the all too inevitable sciatica to kick in!.Bear Grylls has not an inkling of the sacro iliac joints vulnerabilities.i am 67 and wifey a mere child at 54.we walk the dales or moors each week and sea kayak in between.we live in york so are well placed for outdoor pursuits.we've just acquired a peugeot executive 2.5 tdi.it's 1998 but only has 19,000 proven miles and drives like a new car.we used it at grassington for 3 nights on hook up and everything worked as it should.wifey is now"nesting"so i must discreetly keep my utilitarian eye on her purchases e.g.found her smuggled stash of fragrancing candles and "condemned" them-she understood but i was made to sign a Footwashing declaration of intent.we love our"MAVIS"(not my choice)and can't wait to get away every fortnight until she retires at the end of august, when we sail away to southern climes, with her health service lump sum in her grubby little hands!
yours affectionately
Bernie
p.s.am i the only new boy who hates instruction manuals with a confused vengeance.were you all like me once.the correct answer is "yes" but you'll soon get the hang of it!

Hello & welcome from S/Yorks.
I was at Richer-sounds in the middle of York last week, couldn't park outside so I had to walk from the Coppergate centre!!
