Rear window problem Trophy Empty Rear window problem Trophy

Hi guys,

The outer plastic rear window on my 1993 Autosleeper Trophy has mysteriously developed a crack in it.

Does anyone have any ideas of the best way to deal with this? i.e:

Is it possible to have the crack repaired?

Is it still possible to buy new replacement windows?

Or is it a case of trying to track down a second hand one.

Thanks in advance
Andy

I'm sure you could do a temporary/permanent (depends how fussy you are) repair with a suitable adhesive or you could try to obtain a new old stock replacement from someone like O'Learys

or you could get a new one made to pattern from one of these..

don't know what's happening to windows at the moment but I've lost count of the number of times I've posted the same information.

When I had my Topaz I was told that the panels are no longer available, I had a small split in one of mine, so I gently took out the screws and eased it away a little from the window which is behind it, then used Sikaflex behind the panel, held it in place for a couple of minutes then put the screws back.I think that is how you spell it, either way it is messy stuff to use, but is brilliant stuff, remains slightly flexible which is what you need on a vehicle, sticks lots of things and handy in the repair kit. comes in different colours I had the black,

Thank you for the links Paul, although I am not sure they will manufacture the panels that the windows fit into, the links are always invaluable and I have bookmarked them for future reference and to save me asking the same question all over again when "I know this has been asked before but I just can't find it"!  allthumbz
