Rain water behind dash Broadway EB
We had very heavy rain fall last night and today noticed a small amount of water under the bottom of dash board just above the pedals, this is in our Broadway EB, as anyone else had this with theirs.
By the way I noticed recently our scuttle under the windscreen was leaking all over the engine and electrics, and I've recently stripped it out and resealed it to the screen and resealed down the middle of scuttle. I also made bigger drains where the very small drain holes were and run tubing down to the bottom of the wheel arches.
John.

I see that it's a 2014 Broadway so is under warranty. I'd get it investigated, pronto.

Cheers shuggiegreen, I've cured the water in engine bay as above it's just that I've noticed the small amount of water under dash.
Hi Cymro, like you say it looks like going to Peugeot dealer under warranty.

Is the pollen filter properly seated. Often a source of water ingress if not.

Sorry cannot help with the water behind the dash but best to get Peugeot to check it out.
Regarding the water ingress Ito the engine bay this is a problem affecting all the X250 range. Peugeot have never acknowledged there is a problem. I have done as you have done and in addition used some no. 4 x3/8 stainless steel pan head screws to hold the centre join in the scuttle together. I see that on the latest model the scuttle is now in one piece.
Would be interested to hear the outcome of your dashboard leak.

Good gracious ! We had one of the first X250 models ( Fiat) in early 2007. We had problems with a leaking scuttle joint and spent most of the first 2 years with gaffer tape and Fiat " fixes" . I' d assumed it was sorted long ago.
I' ll get up and go and see what this 2014 version looks like...

Mine was held together with very flimsy water sodden sticky back sponge. Here's a link on fun forum,
X250 scuttle drain improvisation.

The scuttle looks much the same as the 2007 Fiat one with the exception of a small piece of foam incorporated into the central join. Fingers crossed however, we have not had leaks with this one.
In 2007 Fiat refused to acknowledge a problem despite those of us affected telling them about leaks. It was rather left with dealers and owners to come up with creative ideas. Our Fiat garage devised some special clips which did not last long. The gaffer tape we put on was not pretty but it did work and was on for almost 2 years before Fiat owned up and sorted it.
