Cannot access website - not ASOF
I know it's another website but I use several for our hobby and having difficulty accessing MMM mag site outandaboutlive. Was fine on main laptop until a couple of days ago but not any more. My other laptop has no such problem. I've cleared cookies but still the same. Any ideas what I need to do? All other sites are fine.

Hi Paul
Do you have any utilities or other software on your PC like a spyware blocker or anti-virus that could block access to the site and it's possibly been blocked accidentally? Have you tried a different browser?

Hi Paulmold, the outandabout web site is having problems, it is running extremely slowly and there have been a few complaints on the forum. Perhaps that is what your problem is?

I couldnt get on it this morning for a short period around 7am, but later was ok. It is not the fastest od sites to load in fact if you use a page loader timer on you browser you will find this web site and the very large one (that many of us use came here from and still visit) load in much shorter time. Page loader timers not available if you use IExp afaik.
The other thing you could try is clearing the browser cache, history and relevant cookies

Cannot access web site.
Hi Paul.
Strange you should bring this up. I have exactly the same problem with the motorhome facts website. I also cleared the cookies / history / passwords etc. but still no luck. Let us know how you get on with this problem as i'm sure it's not just us with this problem.

Whisky, I get the same problem as you occassionally on that site when using the Chrome Browser (there is a reported fault on the Google site as it does happen on quite a few sites apparantly) I have jumped to a beta release of Chrome and its stopped. I dont get the fault with Firefox 6.0.2
I dont have any page loading issues on here in fact the opposite from scratch it loads fast with either Win7 Pro on the PCs or Win7 Starter on the netbook. Just out of curosity I loaded up with an Ubuntu based machine and there was no noticable difference in loading speeds.
When you clear cookies etc are you also clearing the browser cache ?

Well thanks everyone for your replies. I only use IE and never have problems and it's very odd that my other laptop has never had this problem. I've just tried this morning and got straight on with the main laptop, weird but perhaps it is the website in some way but that doesn't explain why my other laptop is OK.

Windows XP Pro Small Business on both and IE8 on both. Just tried to access again and cannot on main laptop (which is an HP Compaq NC6220) but straight in again on other laptop (which is a Dell Latitude D410).
Just tried again and got it, went out of it and tried again and failed, other laptop straight in every time.

Re: Cannot access website - not ASOF
Roli send me a list of things to do yesterday but without doing any of them I have been able to access the site this morning without any problems. Been on 4 times so far without a hitch. So what the problem was I haven't got a clue.
