Warwick habitation battery
Does anyone know what is the largest capacity battery that can be fitted under the driver's seat in a Warwick Duo? The present battery is I think, 105 a/h and it is just about OK for our use with a 100 watt solar panel fitted. It would be nice to double the total capacity, but unlike the Duetto (on a MK7 Transit), it does not look possible to fit two batteries under the seat. Has anyone added capacity to their Duo and if so how did you do it?

Higher capacity means bigger size. Why not look through the Tayna Battery site and check dimensions to see what will fit. If I remember correctly you can enter sizes in their search and it will tell you what is available.

Re: Warwick habitation battery
I've replaced the old 110 amp Numax battery on my Warwick Duo with a new one. I managed to get a direct replacement and would think that 110 amp is the largest that can be fitted. I say this because, although the metal battery box will accommodate a wider battery, the height of the battery is critical and you cant get a larger capacity battery that is low enough. With anything higher than the existing Numax the positive post would touch the metal seat framework when the seat is adjusted with frightening consequences.
I know others with the same vehicle have fitted an additional battery under the passenger seat. This would require the plastic insulated flooring to be cut out to get the required depth. The Peugeot toolbox can be stored vertically in the space immediately in front of the nearside wheel arch. At least it can on ours but later models maybe not.

I have moved my 110amp hab battery to under driver seat. Loads of room and will fit an additional battery under the passenger seat soon.
