Two good VW books
For all those with VW's - Whilst looking in our local "The Works" shop, I noticed two thick hardback books , one was "60 years of VW transporters", the other was "History of VW campers". Both at £9.95 each. These are proper big publications, not like some of the small pocket books on campers.
I have seen them before when they were £35 each, so great value, and well worth a hint or two....as you have been a good boy (or Girl) all this year, haven't you ?

Re: Two good VW books
Thanks for the hint! Its about time Santa brought me something I could read to broaden my perspectives, rather than something I could drink and broaden my waistline. I have been fairly good, after all.............

Another book of interest to VW fans
For VW fans looking for something to read over the holidays -
I can also recommend "VW Camper - The Inside Story: A Guide to VW Camping Conversions and Interiors 1951-2012" by David Eccles. It costs £14.99 from Amazon.
A very good read with plenty of detail photos covering all conversions, fascinating the number of different layouts that have been available over the years which seem to have dwindled to just a few and also the convertors that have come and gone over the same period.
ps - I am not related to, nor have any connection with the author of the book

Re: Two good VW books
...there are several similar books by the same author, with two campers on the cover. He also does a nice one on the Bedford conversions, including the original Dormobile, second only to the VW as an iconic campervan.
