Re: no water
Mine is used every day, I have drained down everything but the flushing tank, I have put extra Laundry liquid in and keeping an eye on it,( the tank isn`t full though). as it is still in use.the other night I but my oil radiator on very low . If it gets much colder will drain flushing tank and carry a bottle of water with laundry liquid in to use to flush the loo.

Re: no water
Hi there,
Well done. Good to hear that all is working okay and with nothing to pay!
Saltash is hardly Siberia BUT it's a bit like playing Russian Roulette with only one empty chamber!
If you get a single severe frost the first thing that will freeze up is the most expensive! i.e. the water heater. If it freezes then it is almost guaranteed to burst a pipe at a place where it cannot be repaired and there will be a hefty bill to replace it ....
.... so my advice is to drain all the water systems down for the winter now that you know everything is working okay.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,

Hello Roger, isn't it a great forum to belong to. So many really knowledgeable people prepared to freely give of their time and experience. I'm very glad I joined, I've learned so much from the stalwarts on here. Merry Christmas to one and all!
