Nuevo / Boxer screenwasher
Just back from a 3,500 mile jaunt round Germany & France and the (2009) ES performed without fault....well almost.
The screenwasher has decided to work when it feels like it and remain completely silent at other times.
Anyone else had this?
Cheers,
Norrie

Hi ,
No answer from an expert,so here goes.
Mine has a plug at the bottom of the screenwash bottle. Yours may be faulty /dirty connections. provided power goes to the pump its all water pipes and finally jets on the screen.
Regards
Mike

Ok had this happen once, the fuse had blown so replaced it, fuse blew again. It turned out the impeller had stuck. Bought a new unit (£8) and found that freeing the old impeller with a small screwdriver solved the problem. Took the new unit back and got my money back (Ok I'm a tight git), that was 3 years ago and its still working.

I can believe it. When i took the water container off,it was full of crud.Maybe caused by different additives over the years?
That's going to eventually go through the pump and the small jets.

Re: Nuevo / Boxer screenwasher
I had this problem on my Warwick Duo. Having checked everything I could lay my hands on, including fuses, it turned out to be an age related problem - my age that is!
Seems I was pressing the little button on the end of the right hand stalk, which works absolutely fine on my Skoda, but scrolls through the trip menu on the Boxer....
all this, despite driving the Warwick for nearly 2 years and 10,000 miles! Can't think of a good excuse.

Nah, like I said - no excuses. Used the washers loads of times, just seemed to have acute brain fade on this occasion!

The bl**dy thing's been working fine so I'll take it to bits, break some vital parts and lose the rest. Probably draw blood at some point too.
But thanks for the advice and wit!

I see you wear gloves. Thats cool. I usually draw blood in those tight areas of vans. Plastic is sharp enough for me.
See i don't like wearing gloves. Well i don't like wearing glasses but that's life.
