Re: clubman gl
Good van, I have the Anniversary Clubman, same layout as the Clubman GL, just that the GL is a bit shorter, engine might be different though, 2.4 I think for diesel also a petrol version, very popular vans and comfortable, like a tardis inside, it will have a 2 burner cooker, grill and oven, shower etc.
Check for damp, body is leak proof, windows can leak though, do a damp meter test. look at the windows where the hinges/catches are on the acrylic , tend to crack if someone hasn`t shut them probably, I had that problem, new windows put in by dealer. as with any van check it out, I love mine and know owners on here with the GL love theirs too. cannot go wrong in my opinion. Good luck.
Regards,
Margaret

Greetings from Norfolk and I couldn't agree with Daisy Mae more. We have the GL, 20 years old but perfectly formed, as far as we are concerned. Also, plenty of help on the forum, enjoy

Hello from Bonnie Scotland I have a GL Clubman and think it is a good choice as it fits in a car space in car parks but is roomy inside for the wife and I . Mine is the VW 2.5 Automatic petrol.

Hi. No more to add to the above.
This is interesting, I've just fitted new exhaust extension pipes to my Anniversary and recently saw a GL where the pipes extended past the bumper. Does anyone know how much shorter the GL is from the Anniversary models?

About 8" if my memory serves me right, early ones I believe are 17`6", then went to 17`10" and anniversary and Gatcombe 18`2" if this is incorrect I am sure someone will know.
