Floppy armrest
Nearside passenger seat armrest suddenly went all floppy. Took it off and lots of little bits of thin metal fell out.
Bar it sits on has grove, currently in vertical position. Armrest has large knurled nut, which is used to adjust armrest position.
Right hand armrest appears, without taking it off, to revolve around bar which runs through back of seat. ie bar doesn't rotate just the armrest.
Any one have an idea on where I can get internal parts to lock armrest to bar in back of seat.
Autosleeper simply refer me to Peugeot and our Carlisle dealer refuses to discuss the matter and insists I take it in for an £80 per hour inspection/look see

Re: Floppy armrest
Hi There,
We have a 1995 Harmony and the adjustment seems to be the same as on yours. They are easy to take off and put back on. The bolt section (ends in knurled nut) slips into the groove on the bar and as you turn the nut it slides at an angle up or down the groove which at the same time lifts and lowers the armrest.
The armrest is sometimes fiddly to lock onto the bar (ie the bolt to fit the groove) but keep trying and you'll know when you are successful.

Re: Floppy armrest
Thank you, I find no difficulty fitting the arm on the shaft which runs through the seat back.
However there must be something else which sits in the groove within the arm into which the knurled nut tightens to hold the arm in place and stop it flopping about.
That's the bit I'm seeking.

If a small bit has broken off, you can a part from E-bay to fix about £3
Apparently this is quite common hence the available of fixing part.

Yes but what is the part ??
Autosleeper won't tell me. Peugeot agent wants £80 to look, and I don't fancy taking the other arm off to check what it looks like (which wouldn't be any use as I need a part number0
in case that arms goes wrong as well
