peugeot doorstep step cover plates
The steps on both the driver and passenger sides, of my boxer van, are getting rather scratched and I was wondering if anyone has found and used something such as a ready made metal plate or the like that could be used as some form of protection.

I'm assuming your Sussex Duo is later than 2007. There are rubber step mats available here..

Re: peugeot doorstep step cover plates
I have improvised by using an old fashioned bristle doormat on my warwick by cutting a paper template and then cutting the mat.
I put them in the van using some double sided tape to ensure they remain in place.
in the 6 months since i did this they still look good and have the added benefit of better dislodging any dirt / debris on your feet as you enter the van. It also protects the more traditional cab mats I have in the passenger and drivers foot-wells.
Oddly enough the remnant piece of the donor mat was exactly the same size as my electric step so I keep this in the doorway of the van and put on the step when its out.
