Auto Sleeper Pollensa
Hi All
I was thinking of buying a AS Duetto but on closer inspection have decided it is a bit too small,so I have changed my mind to a Pollensa,I have decided on a transit Base Vehicle Mark 6.I have looked at a 2001 but it was getting a bit worn and the red trim was faded The blinds were also sticking. Is there any real advantage of trying to get a really late one with a six speed box for improved fuel economy Also when did Ford fit ABS and Air Con.Are there any good or bad years for trim quality.I will also need a Tow Bar fitted Does any one know of any Pollensa,s for sale
thanks
Alan

Re: Auto Sleeper Pollensa
If you look at earlier Pollensa's you will find better quality upholstery and the original AS build. The 6 speed gearbox is very flexible but there was nothing wrong with the older 5 speed boxes
The Pollensa as you have seen gives reasonable accommodation without being a huge van
