AV power cord for TV in '09 Devon'
My 09 reg Devon has a built in TV which has no makers name either on the set or the instruction manual.
I wish to couple it up to a DVD player which which has red ,white and yellow sockets. The TV has a nine pin UGA cable socket. Can anyone please tell me the make of the TV and/or where I can obtain the cable.
Autosleepers were unable to help. PS the TV is digital and has a 10.4in screen.

Hi.
I’ve not heard of a “UGA” cable. Is it the same as the pin 9 pin "S"video?
If so and both TV and cable wiring is “standard” (not always the case unfortunately) this may be what you are looking for:
http://uk.cellphoneshop.net/3rca9pin.html?CA_6C15C=530009110000000193
If not any chance of a picture of the connector?
Incidentally, a few words in the introductions section would be nice.

Sounds more like a VGA interface?

Hi.
That would be more common wouldn’t it, but it’s described as a “9 pin” socket. VGA is normally 15pin. I’ve not seen VGA on a 9 way socket for years (certainly not on a TV). That probably means there will now be dozens of replies from people with 9 way VGA sockets.
There is a big but though. If it is VGA it’s not an AV input. It would need a “composite to VGA converter” for the video and some other connection for the sound since there is no provision for audio via VGA.
I think a bit more info is needed on what connectors are on the TV.

Hi there,
I've given it away now so the Sony Camcorder is in Scotland.
However, it had an adaptor so that the three bayonets (red, yellow and white) that came with it could be put into a TV that didn't have the three sockets.
There are loads of sites that show dozens of connectors. Here are a couple so take your pick:
http://www.video-2-pc.co.uk/Video2PC-Attaching-Leads.pdf
http://www.lorextechnology.com/support/self-serve/Analog-Camera-Cables-and-Connectors/2900032
Hope this helps.
Best regards,

Never come across a NINE pin uga, all i've seen are 24 pin, ( 3 rows of 8 then 4 in a square )
28 in all, & they are used for digital displays, you CAN get a UGA to usb & also I believe hdmi, never seen them on tv's though.
Ideally, you want UGA to phono, but not ever seen them, E-bay has loads of UGA converters.
