Hello from David
Hi everyone,
I thought I'd better introduce myself having rudely jumped in a couple of days ago to ask questions about my recent purchase of a 2012 Broadway EK.
Sue and I have been campervanning/motorhoming since around 1987 when we started with a Fiat Amigo 850. We moved up the stakes gradually through a 1990 AS Rambler and on to coachbuilts, mostly Swifts as the price/value was affordable. We have just changed from a 2011 Swift Escape 664 because we didn't get on with the fixed bed which in the event proved just a little too short for me and decided to go for the better build quality of an Auto Sleeper (although more expensive). We avoided the 2014 version because of the tiny gas tank (and no gas locker) and small solar panel, opting for the second hand 2012 with a view to upgrading the solar panel.
We are retired and do a lot of touring in Europe and Scandinavia so independance is important and we hope that the better appointed AS will make the experience a happier one!
Happy to meet you all,
David
