Leisure battery access
Could anyone tell us please, how we get the drivers seat off to access the Leisure battery. We need to get to it to check the connections as it doesn't seem to be charging up. My Husband has taken off the seat, revealing the square rotator plate for swivelling the seat. There is carpet on the top with a bolt in the middle, but there doesn't seem to be a gap underneath that. I wonder why is it so difficult to get to
Thanks

Re: Leisure battery access
We have now found how to remove the base panel with the swivel plate on top... The bolts are cunningly countersunk and hidden under another piece of carpet on the four corners on top of the base box.
Hope that is of help to any one else.

Re: Leisure battery access
Just had to do same job. It looks as though any drivers seat with a swivel has to be removed complete with swivel. On my Nuevo the front bolts have ny-lock nuts on the underside which are almost inaccessible. Stupid design which prevents easy checking of fluid level.

What size are they Paul?
Could you replace them with Rivnuts/Nutserts? I think you can get them up to 10mm

Re: Leisure battery access
Mine does come off complete by just removing the four c/s Allen bolts. Well heavy as well.
Shame you are so far away Paul as I have a pretty comprehensive riv-nut kit.
